To apply for this program, you must have applied and been admitted to UNK. You will need your NUID number to list on your application, which can be found on your MYBLUE.

This program supports students pursuing health careers through shared learning, mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the following:

Achieve a minimum ACT Composite score of 21 or higher.
A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
Demonstrate a desire to become a healthcare provider and possess knowledge of the profession.
Express a willingness to practice in rural Nebraska.

Eligible for Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program for 2+ years
Eligible for Federal Pell grants
First-generation college student
Homeless
In the foster care system
Live in a rural location (less than 50,000 people)
Receive WIC as a parent or child
