THIS PROGRAM WILL START IN SEPTEMBER 2022!

Below is the registration is for the virtual UNK Health Sciences Explorers Career Club for the 2022-2023 school year. We will meet on the second Wednesday of every month from 7-8 p.m.

Attendance: Must attend at least 9 of 12 sessions; sign-up for job shadowing portal on UNK website and complete HIPAA training; and complete at least five items from the checklist below before a new session begins every September. If the student successfully completes the requirements, they will be eligible to attend the week-long summer camp or a day-long summer camp at a discount rate.

Interview two professionals in healthcare

Job shadow or volunteer at least five hours in health science related area

Attend the UNK Health Science Career Fair in September

Attend one UNK Health Science Explorers Summer Camp

Attend one scheduled field trip to hospital (multiple opportunities)

Watch six uBeats online classes (link will be provided)

Complete personality assessment

Complete virtual Scavenger Hunt
